Explanation of Expeditions:
Since 2016 I’ve been heading out on expeditions around the world, usually armed with old legends, questionable plans, too much camera equipment, and just enough optimism to get myself into trouble.
The first real expedition took me to Nepal. Back then I was still blue-eyed and bushy-tailed, with absolutely no idea what I was doing. I didn’t really understand logistics, jungle survival, research methods, or the small but important detail that maps tend to become “suggestions” once you leave civilisation behind. But after months of chasing one clue after another through the jungle, powered mostly by stubbornness and blind optimism, I somehow managed to locate the Kumari Caves.
Honestly, I think luck carried me through at least half of that expedition.
But that journey changed something.
Since then, I’ve found myself chasing historical legends and forgotten stories across the globe, with more than twenty expeditions through over thirty countries. From lost locations and ancient mysteries to overlooked corners of history, each expedition has been another attempt to better understand the strange story of mankind — and to see what pieces of it still remain hidden.
And despite everything we already know about the world, there is still so much left to discover out there.
Below you’ll find a selection of my expeditions, along with a glimpse at the projects and legends I’m currently investigating. Some ended successfully. Some absolutely did not. Most involved at least one terrible decision that sounded excellent at the time.
But that’s expedition life
